Simon has played guitar for almost 20 years and has played with session players from some of the biggest names in rock and blues. He started by playing bass and joined a band at the Youth club in Wymondham. Then he took up the six string guitar being heavily influenced by rock and blues in particularly Angus Young, Eddie Van Halen and Yngwie Malmasteen. He had the pleasure to jam with such legends as Wilco Johnson and Norman Watt-Roy (Ian Dury & The Blockheads) when only 16 years of age! more info...
Simon played at the Castle Donnington rock festival, Hawkfest and even the Cavern in Liverpool and met some of the bands including Hawkwind. Simon now plays regularly at venues and festivals across Europe. You may also catch him at some of the live music 'jam sessions' in Norwich with some of his students.Back...
